Holiday Celebration
Bring food to share, serving utensils and your own beverage. Guild will supply plates, napkins and cutlery.
Bring a small, wrapped gift if you want to participate in our annual Christmas Swap gift exchange. The exchange will follow rules similar to a White Elephant Gift Exchange, except that your gifts should all be meaningful, no gag gifts wanted.

Domino Knitting with Monica MacFarland
Enjoy this ‘knit-along’ with Monica. We will be making a small bag using the Domino method of modular knitting. You will need an ounce or less of several colors of yarn (or you can use just one color!); one pair of short, straight needles (size to be determined by the weight of your yarn); and one pair double-pointed needles of the same size (for I-cord). Here is the pattern that will be used for this workshop.

April 19,20,21 DKG Retreat at Bergamo Center with Ann Budd
Ann will be sharing the techniques from her book, for basic top-down sweaters, in multiple sizes and gauges. She would greatly appreciate for each retreat attendant to bring a copy of her book, The Knitter’s Handy Book of Top-Down Sweaters, to the retreat. Correcting Cable Blunders with Monica MacFarland
Monica will show us how to fix mis-crossed cables by laddering down. Learn this technique to save valuable time and eliminate frogging.

Guild Potluck and Yarn Sale or Exchange
Bring: Covered dish, soup, salad or dessert to share. Bring your own beverages. Please come even if you don’t have time to bring something to share.
This is your chance to sell, trade, or share your yarn, books, UFOs and other knitting paraphernalia. Please label items for sale with your name and the price. If you do not know the person who is selling an item – just ask one of the board members, they will be happy to point out the seller. DKG merchandise may also be available for sale. Stock up if you missed it at the Yarn Market. Evening meeting attendees are encouraged to come early – have lunch, visit, and knit. It’s also a good time to renew your membership – save time and a stamp.
