Please note: If Wright-Patt Airforce base is closed the DKG meeting is cancelled. <\/em><\/p>\r\n

Be aware that Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church is closed on Federal Holidays. Since our guild meetings in January and February fall on Federal holidays, we will meet on the 4th Monday in January and February.<\/em><\/p>\r\n

Join us as we embrace the cooler autumn weather, wrapped in wooly warm knitwear, and gather by the fire to enjoy the company of friends among the beautiful autumn trees and falling leaves. One of the great aspects of this event is that it’s rain or shine, thanks to the protective shelter at the park and large stone fireplace. We can knit and celebrate together, regardless of the weather conditions!\u00a0 <\/span><\/div>\r\n
Let’s make this celebration a memorable one and continue to foster our love for knitting and friendship. <\/span>We will have a scavenger hunt and some other fun activities. Should you desire, you are\u00a0welcome<\/span>\u00a0to bring a snack to share. \u00a0On the warmer years, bees have also enjoyed attending this event so plan accordingly with any snacks.\u00a0 If it’s cool enough for a fire, we will roast hot dogs.<\/span><\/div>\r\n

Holiday Celebration<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Bring food to share, serving utensils and your own beverage. Guild will supply plates, napkins and cutlery. <\/span><\/p>\r\n

Bring a small, wrapped gift if you want to participate in our annual Christmas Swap gift exchange. The exchange will follow rules similar to a White Elephant Gift Exchange, except that your gifts should all be meaningful, no gag gifts wanted.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
