Hi there… it’s me Heather Janney. I used to do the blog for the Dayton Knitting Guild some years back. Kristen Bailey and Jean Andrews have been sharing the blog duties. I’ve asked to join them. I never realized we could have a Blog Team. I will be sending you reminders of our DKG meetings and other News about the DKG. Now that I’m retired I feel like I have more time to devote to my passion, knitting. I knit everyday. I just started knitting a pair of Felted slippers today. The pattern is: Fiber Trends, Felt Clogs. I knit 9 pairs of these (pictured) Straightforward Fingerless Mitts for Christmas presents last year. I ran out of enough yarn to make a matching pair. I found this pattern on Ravelry after getting a tip from Karen Cassedy. She let my try on a pair that she had made. They fit like a glove…lol.
